In today’s world, we’re all used to money transactions being digital, but for so many people, right here in the US, being able to send money goes beyond paying someone back for covering dinner or gift-giving, Many are sending money to help loved ones pay for everyday necessities.
Now, a new service from Xoom, PayPal’s remittance service, aims to help people send money through a mobile app where the funds are received in cash within minutes.
Michel Kattan, Director of Marketing for Xoom spoke with The Daily Buzz to explain.
“Xoom is a PayPal service that provides worldwide money transfers. It allows consumers to send money, pay bills and reload mobile phones from the United States to 52 countries, including China, India, Guyana, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil and the Philippines,” said Kattan.
“We can service more customers who wish to send money or cash quickly in a more secure way with our new domestic service,” said Kattan. “It will take only minutes and you can use the app or on the website.”
