Steve Harvey’s daytime talk show released Kristoff St. John’s last unpaired appearance from December 2018.

The Young and the Restless star appeared on the “Straight Talk” segment with Dr. Drew Pinsky and singer Tank. The four of them talked about whether it’s appropriate for a man to have female friends after they are married.

During the same episode, Steve Harvey brought out Y&R castmates Victoria Rowell and Doug Davidson to discuss the loss of St. John. “His departing this earth comes to me in waves,” Rowell, who played his on-screen wife Druscilla Winters, said. “I have moments of reprieve and then I’m in disbelief because it seems impossible that such a big spirit would be gone.”

This spring, The Young and the Restless will honor late Kristoff St. John and his character, Neil Winters, with a new storyline.

CBS announced on Thursday that the show will air a special tribute to St. John to unexpectedly died on Sunday at age 52.

CBS wrote on Twitter, “ICYMI: The CBS Daytime Family will always value the legacy of Kristoff St. John and Neil Winters. A story will begin airing in late April where @YandR_CBS will pay tribute to both Kristoff and his beloved character, Neil Winters. Today’s tribute during #YR is only the beginning.”

St. John’s last episode on the popular soap opera aired on Wednesday. At the end of the episode an image of the late actor was shown and it said, “In Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend.”
