On Monday night’s airing of WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE Superstar and Riott Squad member Liv Morgan ended up getting knocked unconscious during The Riott Squad’s match against Natalya, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella.
The incident occurred when Brie Bella began executing the Yes Kicks on Morgan, with one or two of them missing their spot and hitting Morgan in the head, causing her to slump down to the mat.
As the broadcast came back from a commercial break, Michael Cole announced that Morgan had been taken to the trainer’s room backstage to be evaluated, despite Morgan being shown on camera being attended to by WWE doctor Chris Amann at ringside.
Dave Meltzer commented on Morgan’s status during Wrestling Observer Radio.
“I would think from watching that she has a concussion but it’s not going to be determined until she gets checked out more and as far as that goes it’s you know, until that happens you don’t know how long she’s going to be out of action or the seriousness of it. But she was okay. I think she kind of had some memory loss maybe, but she was okay… but it was… she got kicked in the head twice.”

WWE Raw Superstar Liv Morgan has made her first post on Twitter since receiving a concussion by Brie Bella on last week’s Raw. Sporting a new hair color she seemed to take the whole incident well.
Y’all didn’t think a little kick to the face would keep me down did you ? 😉 pic.twitter.com/r26ihGyHss

On Monday, Bryan shared several messages on Twitter to defend his wife, insisting it was a mistake. He also said Bella has been subject to a “constant barrage of social media attacks.”
“I am proud of how strong my wife is. After accidentally injuring Liv Morgan last week, the first time Bri’s ever hurt another performer, she’s been subject to a constant barrage of social media attacks. Almost every wrestler has accidentally hurt someone but rarely do you see this kind of hate when it happens,” Bryan wrote. Bryan then reminded fans how he concussed Randy Orton in 2012 and Nigel McGuinness in 2009. He also said he made his own mistake with Yes Kicks against Andrade just two weeks ago.
“Despite all of that, never did I receive the backlash Bri did this week. With all the negative things said about my wife, nobody was harder on her than she was on herself,” Bryan wrote. “Thank you to the many people who reached out to support her, both publicly and privately. We all wish Liv Morgan a speedy recovery. #EndCyberbullying.”

It’s so hard to leave this one. I wish I could fit her and her babies in my luggage. 💜 As a first time Mom I’ve never experienced unconditional love like this. The way she loves on me, needs me and makes me feel that I’m her whole world. Her sweet smile makes my day better, her laugh sounds like heaven and her hugs make my heart skip a beat. We all were babies at one time. Filled with innocence, laughter and love. We never judged, hated or bullied people. We’d look in the mirror and played peek a boo with ourselves and thought our shadow was the best thing ever. We just simply lived. I hope people can find that feeling again, happiness. Happy people don’t waste their time or energy being cyber bullies….miserable people do. If you aren’t living the life you wish I pray that you find what makes your heart happy and stop wasting energy on promoting hate. For the happy people, silence hate. Don’t let it bring you down.
