A woman went into labor at one of Pink’s concerts right in the stadium!
32-year-old Densie Jones gave birth to a baby girl in Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on Tuesday. To honor the singer, the concertgoer named her healthy baby girl, Dolly Pink. She might be the youngest Pink fan ever!
Medics John Matthews and Dani Berg made their way through the crowd of around 4,600 people to reach the laboring mother, according to the Liverpool Echo.
“When we reached her, it was quite clear the patient was heavily pregnant and showing signs of being in labor. We took the decision to move her as quickly as possible to the First Aid Room underneath the Kop stand,” Dr. Matthews told the outlet. “We continued to assess her and established she was going to have to deliver the baby in the stadium as there was not enough time to get her to hospital.”
Jones had to give birth “all naturally,” as the first aid room had “no equipment,” just two beds, Matthews expressed.
Pink shared a news article of the incident on Instagram. “Dolly Pink wanted to get the party started ??????,” the singer captioned the post on Wednesday.
