George Clooney was hospitalized Tuesday after being involved in a motorbike accident on an Italian island, officials said.
Clooney was taken to John Paul II hospital in Olbia on the island of Sardinia and was released shortly after, hospital officials said. Clooney’s injuries were not believed to be serious.
Video footage of George Clooney’s scooter accident has surfaced, showing the scary moment the actor was thrown from his motorcycle on Tuesday.

In security footage obtained by Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera, we can see the 57-year-old riding his scooter on a road in Sardinia, an island in Italy. He appeared to be traveling at a high speed when he collided seemingly head-on with a dark colored car.
The impact threw him high into the air, landing on the ground. TMZ reports that his helmet struck and cracked the car’s windshield, with his helmet breaking as well.

The 57-year-old actor was on his way to a film set when his motorbike was hit by a car, according to Italy’s La Nuova. A photo from the local website showed the car with a cracked windshield.
Clooney is in Italy filming a “Catch-22” miniseries that will run on Hulu, based on Joseph Heller’s 1961 novel that was also made into a 1970 film.
Clooney and his wife Amal were spotted in Porto San Paolo in Sardinia over the weekend, according to The Daily Mail. He has a home on Lake Como, on Italy’s mainland.
