Valentine’s Day Shopping Made Easy

Valentine's Day

Love is inclusive. No longer is Valentine’s Day a holiday only for romantic couples, but a day to celebrate the important people that you love in your life. Whether buying gifts for loved ones, celebrating at dinner with friends, having quality “me time,” or even showering your best friend (aka your pet) with tender loving care on Feb 14.

Flower bouquets and jewelry continue to top most gift lists, but a new trend among celebrators includes spoiling our furry, four-legged friends. In 2018, the National Retail Federation reported Americans were planning to spend an average of $751 million on Valentine’s gifts for their pets! That’s in addition to $12.1 billion on their significant other/spouse, and $982 million on friends. In addition, people continue to look to shopping innovations to help them with their shopping journey and are buying more gifts online and with their mobile device.

With the holiday of love coming up fast, shoppers are looking for the hottest trends and deals!  Amazon’s Lifestyle expert Angie Newman has the scoop!
