Tori Spelling spoke out about Luke Perry’s snub during the Oscar’s memoriam tribute. Spelling acted alongside Luke Perry during Beverly Hills: 90210. The exclusion of the actor reminded the 46-year-old actress about when her father, Aaron Spelling was also left out of the Oscars memoriam tribute in 2007.

Spelling went to Twitter to voice her opinion. “Now two of the most creative and talented men I have ever known, loved, and lost have not been mentioned in the #oscars memoriam. First, my Dad Aaron Spelling who passed in 2006 and now my friend Luke Perry who passed in 2019.” Perry was in the Oscar winning film Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, yet was left out of the memoriam.

Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott, also spoke about the snub, including other actors who were left out.

He went to Instagram captioning a headline of Luke Perry’s snub, “Also missing from the in Memoriam is Sid Haig, Tim Conway, Michael J Pollard, Jan Michael Vincent and Cameron Boyce,” he wrote. “Not to mention the 2007 snub of the great Aaron Spelling. Got an explanation for us @theacademyawards.oscars @theoscars2020.”
