‘Tis the Last Minute Shopping from Coast to Coast

It’s an old quip: “If it weren’t for the last minute, lots of things wouldn’t get done,” and a new study reveals that for 50% of Americans, when it comes to holiday shopping, it’s 100% true.

The survey, conducted in partnership with Sperling’s BestPlaces, uncovered that more than a third of shoppers in cities – from Los Angeles to New York and all points between – admitted to procrastinating until as late as the day before Christmas. But as experienced shoppers know, it’s never too late to grab the perfect gift.

While there may still be plenty of must-haves on the shelves, those on an eleventh-hour hunt for the person who has everything might need to look a little further out-of-the-box for inspiration.
