Pete Davidson has returned to Instagram to make a big career announcement — he’s heading to Sundance!
The “Saturday Night Live” star posted a series of photos to his account Wednesday from his new film, “Big Time Adolescence,” that was announced today as part of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival lineup.
The post, as well as an Instagram Story promoting the film, remains the only one on his page since wiping it clean nearly two months ago. At the time, he told fans that there wasn’t anything “cryptic” about his decision, but that he just didn’t “want to be on Instagram anymore. or on any social media platform.”
The comedy written and directed Jason Orley follows a suburban teenager coming of age under the destructive guidance of his best friend, an aimless college dropout. The premise reminds us of Jack Black classic “Orange County,” so we’re on board and can’t wait to see a trailer.
Davidson has deleted and come back to the social media app multiple times in the past, however, this post marks the first return since the comedian left Instagram after calling off his engagement to Ariana Grande last month.
Ariana Grande also returned to Instagram and even addressed her breakup head on with her single”Thank, U Next,” where she sings, “Even almost got married and for Pete, I’m so thankful –”
