Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black will come to an end with season 7.
The show confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday that the final season of the popular show will premiere in 2019.
The video shows cast members expressing how much they will miss the show and its fans. The tweet was captioned, “Warning: This may make you cry. The Final Season, 2019. #OITNB.”
Taylor Schilling (Piper Chapman) said, “The final season is coming. Thank you so much for all of your support.”
“I’m going to miss playing and living on the edge of one of the most groundbreaking, original and controversial series of this decade,” Kate Mulgrew (Red Reznikov) expressed.
Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes) said, “Season seven, you will not be disappointed. I’m so grateful for the fun times, the knowledge, the friendships, the love, the family that we have created together.”
“It is a season you will not forget and we are going to give you everything and more that you could have ever wanted,” she added.
Honestly, I have been a fan of the show since it started in 2013, but I think it was a good decision to end with season 7. What are your thoughts?
