Nicolas Cage has been granted a divorce from Erika Koike shortly after their Las Vegas wedding.
Cage originally filed for an annulment just four days after the couple wed, but it looks like he’ll have to settle for a divorce.
According to TMZ, a Clark County, Nevada judge granted the exes official separation 69 days after the wedding.
Cage claimed that Koike did not disclose certain things about herself, so their marriage was based on fraud. The actor also argued that he was too intoxicated to understand that he was actually marrying his girlfriend at the time.
In documents obtained by Us Weekly, Cage said he “lacked understanding of his actions in marrying [Koike] to the extent that he was incapable of agreeing to the marriage” and that “prior to obtaining a marriage license and participating in a marriage ceremony, [they] were both drinking to the point of intoxication.”
Cage said Kokie left out “the full nature and extent of her criminal history” including “additional active criminal proceedings,” and failed to explain “the full nature and extent of her relationship with another person.”
The 55-year-old has been married three times prior to his Vegas wedding.
