On Sunday, the stars of the 1992 film, The Mighty Ducks, reunited on the ice!
Danny Tamberelli took to Instagram to share pictures from the cast’s reunion in New York. The crew wore bright green jerseys just like they wore in the popular movie. Tamberelli’s jersey even had his character’s last name, Duncan, stitched on the back in yellow.
Tamberelli wrote, “What a sweet day!! Thanks to the @anaheimducks for a great day reliving my #mightyducks season with some old friends! Photo cred by my lovely wife @katelyndetweiler.”
Kenan Thompson, who starred in the 1994 sequel, D2: The Mighty Ducks, was apart of the group! Vincent LaRusso (Adam Banks), Colombe Jacobsen-Derstine (Julie “The Cat” Gaffney) and Garette Ratliff Henson (Guy Germaine) were also in attendance.
Anaheim Ducks posted photos with the cast on Twitter. “Some mighty great people joined us at today’s game! Some of your favorite Mighty Ducks visited us on Long Island and met a few of our guys after the game.
