Lady Gaga devoted her time to help wildfire evacuees in California, despite having to evacuate her own home.
The singer posted a picture to her Instagram story of her holding a huge stack of pizzas. She wrote, “Fresh hot pizza, coffee, and gift cards for the shelter.”

Gaga also posted a video to Twitter and said, “Today is my favorite day of the year — it’s World Kindness Day. I encourage you all to do one act of kindness, even if it’s for yourself.” She captioned the post, “It’s my favorite day of the year #WorldKindessDay and the day’s not over. Gaga also stopped by the Red Cross shelter at Pacific Palisades High school to offer food and take some pictures.

Gaga took to Twitter to encourage victims from the wildfires to use the resources provided by Red Cross. “Help people affected by the #CaliforniaFire by visiting http://redcross.org call 1-800-RED-CROSS or text CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to make $10 donation. Includes shelter,food,water,physical and mental health resources as well as emotional support,” Gaga expressed.

The star took to Twitter on Friday to express her empathy for everyone affected by the wildfires. “I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones. I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames. All we can do is pray together & for each other. God Bless You,” Gaga tweeted.
