Late NBA Star and daughter Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant’s bodies have been released to the family, Los Angeles Police Coroner’s Office says.
A total of nine victims died Sunday, January 26 when a helicopter crashed in Calabasas, California. Los Angeles Police also confirmed that all bodies have been released to the families, except for the Altobelli family. Both Kobe and Gianna’s cause of death was ruled blunt-force trauma, in a “high energy impact crash,” according to The National Transportation Safety Board.
Kobe Bryant, 41, John Altobelli, 56, Ara Zobayan, 50, Sarah Chester, 45, Gianna Bryant, 13, Gianna’s teammate Alyssa Altobelli, 14, her mother, Keri Altobelli, 46, basketball coach Christina Mauser, 38, and family friend Payton Chester, 13, have been identified in the helicopter crash site.
