Women are driving growth in fishing, yet fewer than one in five women see themselves represented. In reality, fishing is more diverse than people expect – with nearly half of new fishing participants being female.
Sports Broadcaster and mom Jessica Mendoza is on a mission to encourage other women and adventure–seekers of all ages to make it a family affair and create unforgettable memories on the water.
Families across the country can “test the waters” during National Fishing and Boating Week. June 1 – June 9 is a national celebration that highlights the importance of recreational boating and fishing.
Many states offer Free Fishing Days, when normal fishing license requirements are waived on both freshwater and saltwater.
Whether you’re a long time angler or simply looking for some educational fun for the kids, Jessica shares tips for planning the best outdoor adventure!
