Jennifer Garner and Daughter Rescued From Scary Outting

Jennifer Garner

In an Instagram posted Monday, Jennifer Garner admitted that she and her eldest daughter Violet ran into some navigation issues on a kayaking trip.

The photograph shows a silhouette of Garner and her daughter paddling together on the calm waters with the beautiful pink and yellow sunset in the background. In her caption, Garner prefaced the mild disaster with “On a pre-middle school sneak away with my eldest…” and what happened next is a question and answer session.

The 46-year-old actress and her oldest child jetted off to Stockholm, Sweden, to spend some time together before Violet begins middle school in the fall. While there, the mother-daughter duo took a beautiful kayak ride that went a bit off course.

“Did I get us lost in a kayak? Yes,” she writes.

Violet, who is the oldest of three children Garner has with ex-husband Ben Affleck, was a trooper throughout the ordeal, as Garner hashtagged the post with #shenevercomplained.

The mishap was good practice for Garner’s role in her upcoming 2019 HBO series, “Camping,” in which she plays one half of a married couple who go on an outdoor trip that goes awry.

Garner took a grateful selfie with a man named Mattias from the kayak rental company, Langholmen Kayak, who rescued them before things really got scary.
