Donny and Marie Osmond Celebrate End of 11-year Las Vegas Residency

Donny and Marie Osmond

Donny and Marie Osmond concluded their 11-year run at the Strip hotel and casino on Saturday in Las Vegas after 1,730 performances.

The siblings’ show, which began as a just a six-week engagement, was attended by more than 900,000 fans. The duo treated a sold-out crowd Saturday to special moments throughout the performance like a unique show of gratitude toward Eileen Moore Johnson, the Flamingo’s regional president, and shout-outs to friends including Debbie Gibson, Carrie Ann Inaba, Eve and Sheryl Underwood who were in the audience.

The final run for the two siblings was not without some apprehension (and pain) after Marie fell during the last week of performances.

She assured fans on “The Talk” that she’d be finishing the residency.

At the final show Saturday night, Donny and Marie hugged as the curtain fell, ending their run of more than a decade.

During an interview earlier this year, Donny said that he looks forward to working on his 62nd album after the run while Marie says she wants to do more acting.
