Numerous Disney classics are being turned into live-action films, but are fans happy about Lilo & Stitch? It looks like the response from Twitter users are mixed. Some fans expressed their concerns about the casting of characters, but others portrayed their excitement about their favorite Disney film being remade.

@formoftherapy tweeted, “THEY’RE MAKING A LIVE ACTION LILO & STITCH. WHAT. Knowing Hollywood Lilo the native Hawaiian will be played by Emma Stone and her older sister Nani will be played by Scarlett Johansson,” referring to controversial casting.

“I cant see any way in which a live action Lilo & Stitch will be as much fun as the animated,” @eatheringtonp wrote. “Dear Hollywood: not everything has to be live action. Animation is alive and well. It’s a Good Art Form and doesn’t need a live action of everything.”
