It’s official! Carrie Underwood will host the 53rd Annual CMA Awards with Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton!
The popular award show will return to Nashville on Nov. 13 on ABC. This will be Underwood’s 12th consecutive year hosting and her first time in 11 years without Brad Paisley as co-host.
According to a press release, McEntire and Parton will share hosting duties with Underwood in “celebrating legendary women in country music.”
“It’s an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, in a statement. “In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, ‘The 53rd Annual CMA Awards’ will celebrate the legacy of women within Country Music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.”
Nominees for the award show will be revealed Aug. 28 on ABC’s Good Morning America.
