Lady Gaga’s Vegas audience were in a for huge surprise last night when she invited Bradley Cooper on stage.
The co-stars of the hit film soon had the crowd ecstatic with joy when they performed the film’s song ‘Shallow’ as the closing number of her ‘Enigma’ show.
The moment was captured on video by a member of the audience, with footage showing the pair embracing before Gaga settled at a piano and Cooper took his spot next to her.
When Cooper joined her on stage, Gaga explained that she’d provided monitor speakers so the actor would be able to hear himself on stage, telling him: “I even got you in-ears.”
Cooper joked he couldn’t hear anything as he’d never used in-ears before that point.
Before they kicked off the song, Cooper seemed excited to be living out any rock star fantasies he may have harboured, cheerily shouting: “Hello Vegas!”
As you’d expect, the audience reacted hugely to the duet, taking to Twitter to express their excitement. A Star is Born is the third remake of the original 1937 flick, having been previously adapted for a 1954 musical starring Judy Garland and James Mason, and a 1976 rock musical with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
