Bill Murray expressed how much he likes his co-star, Selena Gomez.
The actor spoke with PEOPLE at the Museum of Modern Art for The Dead Don’t Die premiere in New York City. This is Murray’s upcoming zombie horror flick with Gomez, Adam Driver, Steve Buscemi, and Tilda Swinton.
Murray admitted that he originally judged the actress before getting to know her during filming. “I learned that I like her,” he told the outlet.
“I learned that whatever preconception I had about someone that had 55 million, billion followers of something — maybe, I probably thought she was different than she turned out to be,” Murray continued.
“I enjoyed her very much,” added the actor. “I like her very much.”
“If my mother were alive I’d bring her home to her,” said Murray, before jokingly acting out the meeting, “‘Mother. I want you to meet Selena.’”
The Dead Don’t Die hits theaters June 14.
