Bachelor in Paradise alums Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone have announced that they’re calling it quits after eight months of marriage. Friday, Feb 14, the couple released a statement to The Bachelor franchise confirming the split.
“It hurts to announce that at this moment, we have mutually decided to separate. Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves. We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply. We’ve appreciated everyone’s love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this.”
The couple got married during filming of last season’s Bachelor in Paradise. They met during the show’s season in 2018. Just a week ago, Nielson released a statement calling the show environment “toxic” to US Weekly. “It’s so crazy watching [The Bachelor] because it feels like such a toxic environment they’re in. Honestly, I just think it’s really scary…Seeing all this stuff come up for all the contestants now, like, blasts from the past [means] anything could be exposed on this show now, especially with how they are leaking everyone earlier.”
