London Fashion Week draws to a close, but it definitely went out with a bang as Queen Elizabeth arrived to sit on the front row for the very first time. The monarch was in attendance to present the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to Richard Quinn, but also sat on the front row to see his latest collection.
On Tuesday, the Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, sat front row at designer Richard Quinn’s show wearing her signature sunglasses when Queen Elizabeth walked into the room, making her London Fashion Week debut.
After taking note of the Queen’s presence, Wintour (along with the rest of the guests) stood up and reached for a handshake without removing her shades.
