American Families Struggle to Provide Diapers For Their Kids

It’s no secret that having children is expensive and as part of a company-wide effort to help the 1 in 3 families struggling with diaper need in the United States, Huggies and Walgreens teamed up with Disney to give local families a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

The initiative is part of a larger donation of two million diapers, 250,000 wipes and $10,000 to the National Diaper Bank Network to help get clean diapers to babies and families experiencing diaper need in Central Florida, and throughout the country. From July 28-September 28, Walgreens and Huggies donated a day’s worth of diapers to the National Diaper Bank Network for each package of Huggies purchased at Walgreens.

On October 29, Walgreens and Huggies gathered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida to celebrate reaching this donation goal by donating an additional $10,000 to the National Diaper Bank Network and 100 Disney park passes to families who benefit from services at the Central Florida Diaper Bank.
